The CFL Evaluation Camp concluded yesterday in Toronto with on-field evaluations. According to CFL analyst Miles Gorrell, all three Huskies in attendance stood out. Please click here to view the analysis and wrap up on the CFL website.

Offensive tackle Patrick Neufeld (6’4″, 296 lbs.) finished the E-Camp with an impressive performance during on-field drills. He posted a 5.36 second 40 yard dash, a 26″ vertical, an 8′ 5″ broad jump, and 12 reps on the bench. Neufeld, a 2009 Canada West All-Star, is heading into his fourth year of eligibility with the Huskies.

Cornerback Grant Shaw (6′ 3″, 210 lbs.) showed he has a tremendous future as a defensive back, even though many feel he will end up a kicker. Shaw posted a 4.62 second 40 yard dash, an impressive 38″ vertical, a 9′ 11.5″ broad jump, and 9 reps on the bench press. Shaw will be heading into his fifth year of eligibility with the Huskies after a 2009 season that earned him a Canada West All-Star nod at cornerback.

Cornerback Jon Krahenbil (6′, 187 lbs.) surprised a few scouts with his strong coverage, showing the same athletic ability that Huskie fans know he possesses. Krahenbil ran a 4.72 second 40 yard dash, a 30.5″ vertical, a 8′ 9.5″ broad jump, and 10 reps on the bench. Krahenbil has exhausted his CIS eligibility after three years with the Huskies, where he was a 2008 Canada West All-Star and Second Team All-Canadian, and five years with the Regina Thunder of the PFC, where he was an All-Canadian.
